Eldritch Cathedral Trim Sheets

A closer look at the main trim sheet used throughout my University final year project, 'Eldritch Cathedral'. Due to the limited timeframe (6 weeks) to complete the entire environment I chose designs that would suit both stone and wooden assets which allowed me to recycle the design and spend more time achieving the look of both the wood and the stone.

To achieve the tentacle effect I sculpted a segment in ZBrush and then repeated it along curves in Maya.
After the modelling/sculpting stages I brought it into Substance Designer, baked it onto a plane and started adding damage/details relevant for each material.
